The Society was established it the late 1959, to provide amateur beekeepers with an opportunity to meet regularly, to exchange knowledge and experience about this fascinating hobby.

The Brisbane Amateur Beekeepers’ Society Inc. meets on the first Thursday of each month (except January)

Location new venue is The Sunnybank Hall Corner Lister street and Gager Street Sunnybank Qld 4109

The Brisbane Amateur Beekeepers’ Society Inc. Aims:

To provide members with opportunities to learn more about beekeeping.

To keep members informed of the latest developments and information.

To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge based on practical experience, with a view to promoting better beekeeping practices.

To provide opportunities for members to socialise with like-minded people.
